The Mountains
Georgia itself surprises its visitors by its diversity, its hospitality and the magic of its landscape. And it is easy to reach with direct flights from many European cities.
Our Helibase is situated in the skiing resort Gudauri (2000 meters above sea level). It promises a high level of comfort in a traditional heliskiing region. Never mind if the snow is powdery or hard packed; you will always experience amazing ski runs in solitary valleys all season. The region provides mountain tops of more than 5,000 meters above sea level.
In front of the hotel, you can explore the amazing skiing area of Gudauri. The area hosts modern Doppelmayr chair lifts in order to exploit the perfectly prepared skiing slopes. 5 chair lifts take you up to 3270 meters above sea level. The Gudauri skiing area is available for you for free, which is convenient if the weather is bad.
The Hotel
Sport Hotel Gudauri was built in 1988 as an Austrian - Georgian joint venture. It is located in the skiing area of Gudauri at 2000 meters above sea level. All rooms are equipped with bathroom/WC and satellite TV. The hotel hosts the main restaurant, a snack bar, a chimney bar, a night bar and a bar at the bowling alley. There is also a doctor available at the Sport Hotel Gudauri.
Our guests can also use the swimming pool, two tennis courts and two bowling alleys. After heliskiing you can also relax in the hotel sauna, in the Jacuzzi or the massage room.
